Before launch

Pick one role for your channel: guides, secrets, challenges, news or entertainment. Write it in one sentence.
Pick one home platform. Use the others only to send people there.
Set up the channel: name without game trademarks, a short About text, a banner with no game art.
Verify your account so you can upload long videos and custom thumbnails.
Test console capture with a full 30-minute recording, and get the file onto your phone or computer.
Record your voice separately once, and check that it sounds clear without music behind it.
List the most-viewed videos for your role from the previous game: idea, title promise, length.
Write 40 search questions players will type in launch week, as fill-in templates.
Publish your first warm-up pieces with official trailers and the previous game. Aim for about 20 tests over the weeks before launch.
Decide your launch-week schedule and tell people when you'll post or go live.

Pick two of three: be first, be the best, or be the fastest to answer. You can't be all three.
Publish in bursts: more on day 1 and 2, then settle into a pace you can keep.
Answer one search question per video, with the answer in the title's first words.
Keep the first 7 seconds and the thumbnail free of graphic violence.
No spoilers, endings or big story moments in titles or thumbnails. No leaked footage, ever.
Turn in-game radio off or down while recording, to avoid music claims.
Cut every long video into a few shorts that point back to it.
If you stream: fewer hours, a fixed time, and a plan for each stream (goal, challenge, payoff).
Disclose any affiliate link or sponsor inside the video or post itself.

Weeks 2 to 4

Start a series with a clear premise, so viewers have a reason to come back.
Check your numbers once a week and make one decision from them.
Reply to comments and turn the best questions into your next videos.
Open a small Discord only when people ask where to find you.
Add affiliate links only for gear you actually use, with the disclosure.
Keep posting between waves. The channel that stays alive is the one that catches the next one.
