Earnings disclaimer

Last updated: October 1, 2026

No promise of income

LaunchPlay is an educational guide. It explains how content creators get views and where creator income can come from. It does not promise, guarantee or imply that you will earn any amount of money, reach any number of views or subscribers, or be accepted into any platform's payment program.

What typically happens

Most new channels earn little or nothing in their first months. Many creators never meet the requirements to be paid by a platform. Your results depend on the time you put in, the quality of what you make, competition, platform decisions and luck. None of these are in our control.

Numbers in the guide

Figures such as revenue per thousand views and affiliate commission rates are published benchmarks or rates in effect when we checked them. They are ranges that describe other people's past results, not forecasts of yours. The calculators produce estimates from numbers you type in; they are illustrations only.

Platform rules change

Payment thresholds, advertising rules and copyright policies belong to the platforms and to the game's publisher, and they change without notice. Always confirm on the platform's own page. If a platform's notice and this guide disagree, the platform is right.

Not professional advice

Nothing in LaunchPlay is legal, tax or financial advice. Income from content is taxable; speak with a qualified professional about your situation.

Independence

LaunchPlay is an independent educational brand and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive. Grand Theft Auto and GTA are trademarks of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc., used here only to describe the subject of the guide.
